Carrick-on-Shannon Ed Centre - 40th Anniversary Celebrations PDF

 

 

Carrick-on-Shannon Education Centre prepares for its 40th Anniversary Celebrations.

 
The celebrations will begin at 7.00p.m.  on Friday April 27th  when  The  Director,  Management Committee and staff will assemble at the Marist Girls NS in Carrick on Shannon where The Education Centre ( then known as The  Teacher’s Centre)  was located when it was officially opened on  April 27th 1972. All those who served on Management Committees over the past 40 years and all those associated with The Education Centre including, the Inspectorate, tutors and  the staff of the schools in Longford, Leitrim and Roscommon are invited to attend this celebration.  Following a prayer service at The Marist Girls NS the assembled group will then proceed to the Education Centre in Marymount.  A Conference has been organised for the following day Saturday April 28th .The Theme is Reflection and Renewal.
