National Induction Programme for Teachers/ An Clár Ionduchtaithe do Mhúinteoirí 2011-2012

Teachers in Primary and Post-Primary Schools 

The Department of Education & Skills has established a National Induction Programme for Teachers

which aims to support the induction of newly qualified teachers (NQTs) into the teaching profession in Primary and Post-Primary schools in Ireland.  The main objective of induction is towards promoting the professional development of NQTs by way of systematic support in their first year of teaching, thus laying the foundations for subsequent professional growth and development. 

During the school year 2011-2012 the National Induction Programme for Teachers/An Clár Náisiúnta Ionduchtaithe do Mhúinteoirí in collaboration with the Education Centre Network, will run a series of workshops for Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) teaching in Primary and Post-Primary schools throughout the country.   For details of dates and venues for these workshops please click on the attachments underneath.

Please register for the National Induction Programme for Teachers/An Clár Náisiúnta Ionduchtaithe do Mhúinteoirí with your local Education Centre.  Details of each Education Centre can be found by clicking on the Education Centre Network tab on the Home Page.
